law of no action and reaction
i got me an awakening today.
i ate my lunch at around one o' clock in the afternoon. after i did the dishes i still felt full, so i sat down to smoke, while watching the justice league episodes my brother compiled in a dvd.
i glanced at the kitchen counter and noticed the bottle of soya bean sauce we used in cooking was still open. with sloth kicking in due to the hot weather, i left it alone thinking i'll cap it later or somebody else will, eventually.
nobody did.
dinnertime, and i was sitting at the dinner table and i heard my sister yelling something about somebody spilling the soya bean sauce because the cap wasn't closed.
right. i shoulda capped the damned thing.
nobody should fall victim to somebody else's carelessness or lack of concern.
they say just because we have nothing to do with it, doesn't mean we must not act on it.
it's true, but not in it's entirety.
some would say, that's their problem. sometimes it's their carelessness that complements another person's recklessness.
they're just looking for somebody to point their finger at, instead of blaming themselves for their disregard.
i'd like to remain neutral.
one person's neglect is another person's dilemma. lesson learned.
